The purpose of the Exam ( විභාගයේ අරමුණ)

Promoting adaptation to Korean life by leading entrance of foreign worker who has basic understanding on Korea and evaluation of the level of Korean language skills of foreign job seekers and Korean Society, It can be used as objective selection criteria for the list of foreign job seekers.

What is the Structure of the EPS-TOPIK (UBT, CBT) Exam? (EPS-TOPIK (UBT, CBT) විභාගයේ ව්‍යුහය )

• EPS-TOPIK (UBT, CBT) Exam duration is 50 Minutes and total marks are 200.(EPS-TOPIK (UBT, CBT) විභාග කාලය මිනිත්තු 50 ක් වන අතර මුළු ලකුණු 200 කි.)

• The Exam has two sections – Listening and Reading. (විභාගය කොටස් 2කින් සමන්විතවේ. - සවන්දිමේ සහ කියවීමේ කොටස )

• Listening section of EPS-TOPIK (UBT, CBT) has 20 questions for 100 marks and the time for this section is 25 minutes. (විභාගයේ සවන්දීමේ අංශයට ලකුණු 100 ක් සඳහා ප්‍රශ්න 20 ක් ඇති අතර මෙම කොටස සඳහා කාලය විනාඩි 25 කි.)

• Reading Section of EPS has 20 questions for 100 marks and the time for this section is 25 minutes. (විභාගයේ කියවීම් අංශයට ලකුණු 100ක් සඳහා ප්‍රශ්න 20ක් ඇති අතර මෙම කොටස සඳහා කාලය විනාඩි 25කි.)

• All the questions are multiple choice where you have to choose one right answer out of 4 choices.(සියලුම ප්‍රශ්න බහුවරණ වේ, එහිදී ඔබට තේරීම් 4 න් එක් නිවැරදි පිළිතුරක් තෝරාගත යුතුය.)

• The EPS-TOPIK (UBT, CBT) evaluate (ඇගයුම් අන්තර්ගතය) is based on),

  1. Basic communication skill needed in everyday life in Korea (කොරියාවේ එදිනෙදා ජීවිතයේදී අවශ්‍ය මූලික සන්නිවේදන කුසලතා).
  2. Korean language skills needed in industry (කර්මාන්තයට අවශ්‍ය කොරියානු භාෂා කුසලතා).
  3. Understanding of Korean business culture (කොරියානු ව්‍යාපාරික සංස්කෘතිය පිළිබඳ අවබෝධය).

Who is eligible for job application under EPS Korea

The person should fulfil following criteria(ඉල්ලුම්කරු පහත සඳහන් නිර්ණායක සපුරාලිය යුතුය).

• Person aged between 18 and 40 (වයස අවුරුදු 18 ත් 40 ත් අතර)

• Person who passed EPS-TOPIK (EPS-TOPIK විභාගය සමත් වීම)

• Person who fits for medical checkup decided by Korean government(කොරියානු රජය විසින් තීරණය කරන ලද වෛද්‍ය පරීක්‍ෂණයට සුදුසු පුද්ගලයෙක් වීම)

• Person with no criminal record in relation to serious offence punishable by imprisonment.(සිරගත කළ හැකි බරපතළ වරදකට අදාළව අපරාධ වාර්තාවක් නොමැති වීම)

• Person who does not have previous record of deportation/eviction order from Korea.(කොරියාවෙන් පිටුවහල් කිරීමේ නියෝගය පිළිබඳ පූර්ව වාර්තාවක් නොමැති වීම)
